Business-Oriented data modeling
The Genasys Business Oriented Data Modeling (BODM)
team is dedicated solely to the generation of geospatial
data models. With a highly qualified technical staff and
more than six years of experience in the modeling of spatial
information, the BODM team responds quickly to the demands
of the client, providing a complete and precise solution
within a minimum period of time.
The ability to provide highly accurate and customized data model is due in large part to the methodology developed by the BODM team as a result of their experience over time. This methodology guides the complete process, in all its phases, and includes all steps that may be necessary in order to generate a spatial data model that is adapted to the needs of the client based on their sector and the project at hand.
The generation process for spatial data models can be broken down into the following main tasks which Genasys offers individually or as part of a complete process:
- Identification
of Data. This includes the analysis of the
client's technical specifications and the consequent search
for the required cartographic data.
- Planning and Design.
In this phase the a data model is planned, the raw data
is synthesized, and a technical design for the information
is constructed.
- Generation and
Delivery. Finally, the data model is built,
tested, and integrated as needed into the client's environment.
