Jan 2005. Genasys Wins Contract to Coordinate Health and Safety, Perform Quality Audits for Vodafone Spain's UMTS Deployment

Genasys has been selected by Vodafone to coordinate health and safety for remote work sites and perform audits for quality during the continuing deployment of their 3G network in Spain.

This extensive network deployment project will commence in February and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2006. Genasys will carry out the project in accordance with both Vodafone's technical specifications and the applicable national and regional regulations. Genasys will coordinate the heath and safety measures taken at all work sites and facilities throughout the project until the final acceptance and implementation of the remote sites. In addition, they will be responsible for quality audits of not only the work sites but also the contractors and subcontractors participating in the construction and installation of the equipment.

To provide a complete solution, Genasys formed a collaboration agreement with Bureau Veritas, the leading company providing auditing, health and safety, environmental, and social responsibility solutions in Spain.
