In 2001, the Spanish authorities announced a new requirement for all telecommunications operators to perform a comprehensive annual review of radio electric emissions levels, submitting the results to the governing body for certification. Since that time, Genasys has collaborated with carriers operating in the Spanish market to carry out these extensive network auditing projects.
To facilitate this yearly process, we have developed a methodology and a set of productivity enhancing tools that allow us to provide a turn-key solution encompassing aspects from detailed BTS maps showing their exact location and surroundings, to the complete planning of BTS site visits for measurement-taking. All of this ensures that this complex project is fully controlled from the initiation of the project to the submission of the final documentation to the appropriate authorities.
