Time-saving SDK Presented to Developer Community

On November 8th, Genasys presented a well attended and very successful technical seminar about the development of location-based applications and the new Genasys SDK which speeds the process significantly.

Members of the Movistar-sponsored MovilForum developer community were invited to learn more about how location can be used to enhance mobile applications and the ease with which it can be done. The common objective of both Genasys and Movistar is to encourage the developer community to bring new and innovative location solutions to market.

MovilForum members have access to the Genasys Positioning Platform location enabling server to develop, integrate and test their applications. This is the same platform that Movistar has been using to support live location services since 2002.

The platfrom's location API is based on the Open Mobile Alliance protocol standard, MLP (Mobile Location Protocol). Though the API is efficiently designed in and of itself, the Genasys SDK reduces repetitive tasks and further simplifies the integration of complex location functions.
