Who we are

SHAREHOLDERS

Genasys was founded as a subsidiary of Genasys II Pty Ltd (Sydney, Australia) in 1994. In 1998 Genasys employees were associated with some investors to acquire the Company (MBO), founded Investment Fund Continental, S.L. (IFC) as holding. In 2004, IFC got together with Elderslie Finance Corporation (Sydney, Australia) to incorporate to Genasys  the company GenaWare International Pty Ltd, which possessed the copyright of the software GenaMap, financing properly the merger, while a new Business Plan was established.

At the beginning of 2007 Elderslie transferred its property in Genasys to Adara Venture Partners, S.à.r.l., and Genasys invited its executives and a selected group of private investors to invest in the company. In 2008, new investment from Venture Partners Adara, a group of private investors, plus the incorporation of Caixa Capital PYME Innovación SICAR (CCPI) has given Genasys the following shareholder distribution: IFC, 41%; Adara, 40%; CCPI, 10% and 9% private investors.

70% of IFC belongs to individuals directly involved in Genasys while 66% of the private investors are also involved in the company.

    Spanish owned company formed in 1999 during the management buyout of Genasys II Spain, Investment Fund Continental (IFC) is made up of sixteen investors who had a keen interest in directing the company and growing its markets. Over the last several years, several IFC members have been active in the company at strategic levels and two members, Pablo Colom and Joaquín Sanz, continue to steer the company through year after year of profitable operations.
  • ADARA Venture Partners
    Genasys Holding is the legal organization of the venture between IFC and Elderslie. IFC owns 65% of Genasys Holding and Elderslie, the remaining 35%. This organization is the direct owner of both Genasys and GenaWare International Pty Ltd, helping to ensure a synergistic relationship between the two technology companies and a sharing of resources to contribute to their future success.  www.adaravp.com

    Genasys Holding is the legal organization of the venture between Genasys owners. This organization is the direct owner of both Genasys II Spain and GenaWare International Pty Ltd, helping to ensure a synergistic relationship between the two technology companies and a sharing of resources to contribute to their future success.
  • Caixa Capital PYME Innovación
    To support innovative and enterprising companies in their different stages, "la Caixa" holds different financing tools within the venture capital environment: the Seed Capital, to go along and collaborate with the enterprising company with a temporary involvement in the project, through an equity loan, and the Capital Growth, aimed at innovative SME with a high potential for growing, once they have overcome the initial stage. Through its venture capital tools for enterprising companies, "la Caixa" participates in over 50 projects to create and develop businesses with an investment close to 20 million euros.
